About the role:

The role of the Nordic Brand Manager is to drive solution sales and brand awareness by a deep understanding of the market for Advanced Wound Care (AWC) products and clinical need. You will deliver consistent, clear Solution messaging aligned with our global branding and strategy.

The relevant person will have a focus across the 4 Nordic markets. Further, the role will have a close link to the local home country, where you will support with local translations, webinars, HCP activities and other tasks. The split is 80% Nordic and 20% local.

The AWC area is targeted towards highly skilled HCP’s (Doctors and Nurses).

Experience within Advanced Wound Care is considered highly positive.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Identification and segmentation of KOLs (mainly KOL nurses) across all 4 Nordic countries with Sales Directors and Territory Managers

  • Host and lead KOL advisory board meeting, 2 x annually

  • Prepare for KOL contracts and remunerations according to Fair Market Values

  • Responsible for Wound Hygiene® concept with global peers, colleagues. Participate in global meetings on Wound Hygiene® concept.

  • Identify and interact with local opinion leaders and HCPs to help generate understanding of Wound Hygiene® concept, our wound care portfolio and when relevant guide them on the optimal use of ConvaTec solution with the sales team

  • Lead educational online webinars around wound care education and the use of our products

  • Develop educational initiatives using scientific/medical expertise, customer insights and understanding of product area and strategy.

  • Play a critical role in scientific / medical training of field force.

  • Help sales teams to understand clinical studies, white papers.

  • Supervise and support the development of patient cases with Territory Managers

  • Plan and Run Nordic and local customer projects.

  • Participate in relevant customer events.

  • Provide support for the Market Access process in medical/scientific matters of tenders.

  • Be responsible for MRL approval of own area and medical approver for Nordics.

  • Be of assistance to sales, marketing, regulatory, market access and other relevant functions regarding medical questions related to Advanced Wound Care

  • Participate in Marketing budgeting and strategy planning in the scope of the area.

  • Liaise with global medical colleges, by sharing best practice and knowledge.

  • Proof reading of promotional materials in Swedish after agency translation

  • Work closely with Nordic Brand Managers on products launches and campaigns for existing products.

  • Drive commercial excellence so we reach out sales targets.

Travel requirements:

20% - 25%, on occasion, as business needs require minimal overnight stays, i.e., sales conferences, national or international congresses, team meetings

Language skills required:

Local Nordic language (DK or SE or FI or NO) fluent – writing/ reading and speaking, able to proofread clinical texts

This role requires Swedish as native language.

English fluent – writing / reading and speaking

Education/Qualifications:

  • Reg. Nurse degree (minimum bachelor’s degree), preferably with courses in Advanced Wound Care

  • Further education in marketing and/or product management

  • Strong scientific understanding and ability to read and understand scientific literature and studies

  • Knowledge of medical device and MDR 2017/745 (ideally the Advanced Wound Care market) and/ or pharmaceutical industries

  • Experience of supporting Tender work preferably in all four Nordic countries

  • General marketing and sales experience in medical device industry, preferably from AWC

  • Strong analytical mindset and very good excel and Powerpoint skills

Experience:

  • Experienced discussing with and meeting Nurse KOL’s

  • Experienced in managing local market and key customer.

  • Strong analytical skills, good written and verbal communication competencies, able to analyze and interpret data to support decision making and leverage 360 dialogue.

  • Presentation expertise both digital and live to local and global management levels

  • Strong project management skills to deliver on tight deadlines and manage complex interdisciplinary project teams

Working Conditions:

National legislation / full week working time

Working environment is office based with home office possibility and partial travel.
